Assam Government has decided to give 10 lakh Rs to Abhinav Bindra for winning Gold medal in rifle shooting individually in Beijing Olympics.
Chief Minister Sri Tarun Gogoi was on a official trip to the three districts of Cachar Karimganj And Hailkandi on the 26th of July. He was touring the valley considering the problems that had arisen inside the party in these places.
Assam Chief Minister Sri Tarun Gogoi came out all guns blazing when he learnt of the victory in Trust Vote in the parliament. He came out of his residence and suggested that it was a victory of democracy.
