250 teachers taken into custody for blocking airport road

Airport Road linking this town at two places.
Many vehicles including that of the Indian Airlines as a consequence
were detained by the agitationists. Passengers bound for morning
flights got stranded in their vehicles which delayed the departure of
the flights to guwahati, Imphal and Kolkata by 2 hours.
