The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has earlier announced 6,140 vacancies for Police Constable, Jail warder, and fireman vacancies. As per the reports announced by the TNUSRB, almost 5 lakh aspirants have applied for these posts. The selection of aspirants will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in written test, physical eligibility test, physical standards test, and interview rounds. Candidates initially have to qualify the written test round. The Common entrance test was conducted on 11^th March for all aspirants.

The written test was conducted for 1 hr 20 minutes. And it is the offline (pen, paper based) examination conducted for 80 marks. Aspirants who qualifies this round will be promoted for next rounds. physical ability tests which include physical measurement test will be conducted for the aspirants qualified the written test round.
