It has just been a day since the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) 2017 was held and students and their parents are already looking for the official MHCET 2017 answer key and results.

Right off the bat we would like to inform you that the official Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) 2017 answer key and results haven’t been released yet and they will be released in June, but this article reveals to you all the things important about the exam including the analysis. Those waiting for the result should note that the MHT CET results will be declared on June 4th with the merit list coming out sometime in the second week of June.

The exam was held on May 11 and candidates who submitted their applications between February 14th and March 23rd were allowed to appear for the exam. According to details we have at our disposal, as many as 3.9 lac candidates sat for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) 2017 that will allow them to get admissions to First year of full time Degree Courses of Technical Education like Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Pharma.D for the academic year 2017-18.

While students and their parents are aware of how the cut off marks are calculated, there are still those who are confused about how these things go about. Cut off is calculated based on the number of applications received and how many candidates appeared for the exam. The primary requirement for a student to be considered for the merit list is that they should have minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, in case of SC/ST & PWD Categories the minimum aggregate is reduced to 40%. Then comes the actual cut-off. The higher the number of candidates and their overall marks, the higher the cut-off.

Official MH CET answer key with solutions will be provided soon.

Some important thing that you need to keep in mind. Students who are seeking admissions to Engineering and Technology are appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Students seeking admission to Pharmacy/ Pharm.D are appeared in Paper 2 as well as in Paper 1 and/or Paper 3.
