TD Leaders Sharing Fest Funds: YSRC @ NELLORE
“They should have spent Rs 20 to Rs 30 lakh out of the festival fund to make permanent arrangements for drinking Water and toilets in the college but they never do it. Similarly, they have spent Rs 5 lakh to plant trees on the way to the venue last year and all of them died Within no time.
My suggestion to lay two cement roads for the benefit of tourists to reach Bhimulavaripalem boating area from Tada and for a park at Atakanitippa fell on deaf ears. I had also suggested to the state government to install hoardings On a permanent basis from Tada to Nelapattu on the highway to highlight the birds’ festival but no one cares,” said Sullurpeta YSR Congress legislator Killiveti Sanjeevaiah.
He added that the ruling party leaders and ministers don’t even invite him for the meetings over arrangements for Flamingo Festival though he is representing the area.
Officials have been expressing their help lessness on the issue, he Said.
The YSRC leader alleged that the local TD leaders are sharing the festival fund under the pretext of some work or the other but everything Vanishes after the 3-day festival.
