A school transport conveying 50 students overturned in the wake of hitting a course in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur region on Monday morning. The episode happened in Veldurthi mandal as the students were headed to class from Uppalapadu town. The students, who had a place with Krishnaveni talent school, were admitted to the Government Area Hospital in Macherla. At least 15 students were harmed in the accident.

Visuals of the accident demonstrated the transport lying on its side with a large number of local people gathered around it. A few media reports proposed that the driver of the transport was reportedly drunk at the time of the mishap. Others said that he was driving the vehicle on the wrong side of the street. While the police have kept the denounced and are addressing him, they didn’t remark on regardless of whether he was inebriated.
Speaking to TNM, A Venkateshwarlu, Circle Inspector from the Macherla Police Station said, “Two kids are grievously injured and have been referred to a private hospital. Ten students have already been shifted and are availing treatment at other private hospitals, while four students are still admitted at the Government Area Hospital in Macherla. The police are still at the spot of the accident and investigation is ongoing.”
In March 2017, at least thirty kids were harmed after a transport upset and fell into a stream in Andhra’s Prakasam area. The accedent occurred near Pedda Alavalapadu. As indicated by reports, the transport was conveying in excess of 70 students who were coming back from a journey. Seventeen students were hurried to emergency clinics in Ongole.
The students were from a school in Karedu town and they had supposedly visited places of interest in Kurnool area, before heading back. The police promptly raced to the spot at the time, in the wake of finding out about the mishap and gave medical aid, before moving the harmed students to adjacent emergency clinics.
