More than 10,000 affirmed coronavirus cases were accounted for in a single day in the US, raising the number of COVID-19 patients to 43,700, as President Donald Trump signed an executive order to prevent accumulating vital clinical supplies and personal protection equipment.

The US also registers more than 130 deaths in a day due to coronavirus for the first time, taking the total number of fatalities to 550 by Monday night.
Till Monday, in excess of 43,700 affirmed cases of coronavirus were accounted for in the United States. Of these, more than 10,000 were included one day, as indicated by the reports.
Trump signed the executive order, warning that his government would make a move against hoarding and excessive pricing of vital medical and personal protective equipment just as provisions, such as, hand sanitizers and face masks.
“Very simply, we will not allow anyone to exploit the suffering of American citizens for their own profit,” he asserted, warning that the Justice Department will aggressively prosecute fraudulent schemes related to the pandemic that has killed more than 15,000 people worldwide.
New York State, specifically New York City, rose as the hotspot of the worst public health crisis in the United States in late memory. About one in each two Americans tested by novel coronavirus is from New York City which detailed 5,085 news cases on Monday taking the total to 20,875.
Upwards of 157 occupants of New York, a city which has one of the highest concentration of people in the nation, have passed on of coronavirus up until this point. Of the total deaths in the city up until now, 43 were accounted for on Monday.
Health officials cautioned that COVID-19-related casualty figures in New York are relied upon to jump significantly in the coming days.
