Actor and politician Kamal Haasan, who is at the center of a seething line over his Hindu radical comments, Friday said “Every Religion Has Its Own Terrorists” and that nobody can profess to be hypocritical.

The Makkal Needhi Maiam chief likewise said that he was not terrified of being captured but rather cautioned any such action would raise pressures.

The politician and actor, who had recorded an expectant safeguard after an FIR was enrolled in Aravakurichi in Karur district for his comments, said he had made comparable remarks in Chennai amid the Lok Sabha decision campaign yet it was being observed now by those people “whose confidence is dipping”.
“Let me tell you terrorists abound all religions…every religion has its own terrorists and we cannot claim that we are sanctimonious and we have not done that. History shows you that all religions have their extremists,” he told reporters, including his concentration in Sunday’s campaign discourse was on maintaining harmony.
Asked as to whether he had documented an expectant safeguard supplication in the Madras high court dreading capture, Haasan answered in the negative.
“I don’t fear arrest but I have got campaigning to do. Let them arrest.. but if they arrest me tensions will escalate. This is not my request but an advice,” he said.
