Gujarat Coast on High Alert after the Intel warnings About Pak Commandants Entry
The Border Security Force (BSF) found two single-motor Pakistani pontoons relinquished in the ‘Harami Nala’ area and a search operation had been launched, a BSF representative said.
Fearing “underwater attacks,” by Pakistani commandos, security is up at all real ports, such as the Kandla Port and the Adani Port in Mundra and different infrastructures.
The ports have guided shipping operators to advise their ships and keep up a watch and report any suspicious activity to the Coast Guard, marine police headquarters or port control rooms.
In an alarm, the specialists of the Deendayal Port Trust in Kandla directed the reception of exacting security measures.
A similar advisory has been issued by the Adani Port management. It said, “All shopping agents and stakeholders are directed to inform their vessels accordingly and report any suspicious activity to the marine control station and port operation centre immediately. Please note that Mundra Port is maintaining security level 1. Security measures have also been enhanced at the shore side of the port.”
