After forming the new government in Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP Leader and AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s 25 ministers cabinet was formed today. Yet the 5 deputy chief ministers information is not known. Governor ESL Narasimhan administrated the oath ceremony of new ministers. The oath ceremony happened near State Secretariat at Velagapudi.

The council of ministers comprises Botcha Satyanarayana (Vizianagaram), P Pushpa Srivani (Vizianagaram), Dharmana Krishna Das (Srikakulam), Avanthi Srinivas (Vishakha), Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose (EG), P Vishwarup (EG), K Kanna Babu (EG), V Srinivas (Krishna), Perni Nani (Krishna), Kodali Nani (Krishna), B Srinivas Reddy Prakasham), B Rajendranath Reddy (Kurnool), M Goutham Reddy (Nellore), Ch Sriranganatha Raju (WG), Alla Nani (WG), T Vanitha, (WG) and M Sucharitha (Guntur).
While six ministers had served in the cabinet of Jagan Reddy’s father late YS Rajasekhara Reddy in unified Andhra Pradesh, all others are first-time ministers. The swearing in function started at 11.49 am, the favorable time set by Jagan Reddy’s consultants.
Dharmana Prasada Rao was the first to be confirmed. Adimulapu Suresh and M Goutham Reddy made a vow in English, while the rest of the ministers made a vow in Telugu. Amjad Basha was the single Muslim minister to make the vow.
The names of deputy chief ministers are relied upon to be reported later in the day. As per sources, the posts might be allocated to Alla Nani (Eluru WG Kapu), Partha Sarathi (Yadav Penamaluru Vijayawada), Rajanna Dora (ST Salur), M Sucharitha (SC Guntur) and Amjad Basha (Minority Kadapa).
The chief minister has tried to keep up an equalization of more fragile segments in the cabinet with seven people from in reverse class, five from Scheduled Caste (2 Madiga, 3 Mala), four people each from Kapu and Reddy, one each from Kamma, ST, Kshatriya, Vyashya people group.
Reddy held a meeting of the YSR Congress Legislature Party on Friday where he declared the choice to select five appointees. As needs are, one each from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, in reverse, minority, and Kapu people group would be made a deputy chief minister.
