New Hyundai Creta to feature a number of minor tweaks and features
Hyundai Creta is getting a set of minor tweaks and feature updates to match with customer expectations from an SUV and details about the update were revealed by Hyundai through the company’s official Facebook page.
Hyundai Creta was an instant hit after it was launched in 2015 and despite the success, it did face quite a few customer complaints regarding lack of features. Hyundai heeded to the number of feature requests that it has been receiving from its customers as well as dealerships around the country and has announced new feature updates including a dual color exterior and interior design. Hyundai revealed the updates by posting Creta’s new brochure on Facebook.
According to the updated brochure, Creta gets a dual color exterior on the SX Plus variant- Polar White and Red Passion with Phantom Black roof color. The dual paint exterior color is only available with manual gearbox. Talking about the interiors the SX Plus receives the all black interiors with red and black seat. Creta is also getting a new 7-inch infotainment system with AVN allow connecting with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Mirrorlink and for enhanced sound quality it also adds sound feature called Arkamys Sound Mood.
The Creta E-Plus grade will be available with the 1.4 CRDi engine with manual transmission, while the E variant is available only with a 1.6 petrol Dual VTVT engine.
Hyundai Creta will be available in two engine variants; a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine and a 1.4-litre diesel engine. The 1.6-litre petrol engine produces 121 hp of power and 151 Nm of torque, while the 1.6-litre diesel engine produces 126 hp of power and 260 Nm of torque. The 1.4-litre diesel engine delivers 88 hp of power and 219 Nm of torque.
Hyundai has not revealed the price of the updated Creta, but we can say that it will be slightly higher than
the current price. The ongoing market price of Creta is Rs 9.22 lakh for E-model and the top model SX(O) is available at Rs 14.57 lakh. Source: TeamBHP
