The days between and including March 28 to April 5 are celebrated as Chaitra Navaratri across India and during this festival, devotees follow a strict routine of fasting and prayers for nine days.

Chaitra Navaratri is one of the most important traditional and religious festivals according to the Hindu calendar. During these nine days, people worship nine different forms of goddess Durga on each of the nine days. One of the key things during these nine days is the diet as only a selection of food is allowed to be consumed.

The food that is permitted include dairy and dairy products, fresh fruits and a selection of ingredients. This effectively means that there are only a limited number of dishes that you can consume if you are strictly following the diet regime of this festival.

However, it turns out that restaurants around the nation are offering delicious delicacies made from the select ingredients to tickle the taste buds of people. Prices start from Rs 1,595 plus taxes.

SMAAASH Cyberhub located at Cyber City, Phase 2, NH-8, Gurgaon, is also offering a selection of dishes like Sabudana ki tikki, Paneer and kutoo ki poori, pethe ki subzi, samak ke chawal ki kheer, Fruit Salad, among others, the thali will not disappoint the food in you with prices starting from Rs 257 plus taxes.

You can head to Hyatt Regency Gurgaon to enjoy dishes like Sabudana Pakode, Paneer Makhana, Aalo Sabzi, Kuttu Ki puri, Samakh ke chawal, Fruit Salad, Pista Lassi among others with prices starting from Rs 999 plus taxes.
