Sai Dharam Tej Prathi Roju Pandage Movie Review, Public Talk
Recently, Director Maruthi’s film Sailaja Reddy Alludu starring Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel, and Ramya Krishnan was released last year. The film also starring Rao Ramesh, Murli Sharma, Naresh, and others in major roles.
After that successful film, Maruthi’s next to go Prathi Roju Pandage hits the screens with a family drama subject.
The film tells the story of a lonely man called Raghu Ramayya (Satyaraj) from Rajahmundry whose strong organization is his home help (Mahesh Achanta). Diagnosed with lung cancer he just has 5 weeks to live and keeping in mind that his children and girl attempt to plan their busy lives around his passing, his grandson (Sai Dharam Tej) chooses to assist him with finishing everything on his bucket list.
The first half of the film is fun, never taking to itself as well seriously and at the gloominess of death as well as at how families, for the most part, respond to such circumstances. Rao Ramesh, in particular, is gold as the eldest child feeling inconvenienced to be taken away from the middle of a business deal and stuck in a difficult situation. So is Raashi Khanna as TikTok Queen Angel Aarna, who’s cornered into getting drew into Sai. Satyaraj too is great as the dying grandfather, needing to spend time with this entire family one final time.
While the story is practically unsurprising, the way Maruthi pushes the story ahead is connecting up until this point. Thaman S’ BGM too adds to the vibe, all things considered, so does the number ‘Oo Bavaa’ and the way it’s shot. It is not yet clear how the subsequent half will fare.
