Prabhas Saaho Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 6
Saaho makers UV Creations earlier took to Twitter to share the worldwide box office figures of the film. They tweeted, “India’s biggest blockbuster of the year. #Saaho collects a whopping 350 Cr+ gross in 5 days worldwide!”
The film probably won’t have impressed the critics yet it has without a doubt attracted the audience to theaters. Saaho was Prabhas’ first release after the tremendous success of Baahubali and his fans have ensured that the film fare well in the box office.
Along with Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, Saaho likewise stars Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay, Lal, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunky Panday among others.
The New York Times’ Rachel Saltz wrote in her review, “The movie is crisply, sometimes stylishly shot (Madhie did the cinematography), but it’s too muddled to be slick and too lacking in charm to establish any emotional stakes. By the time Prabhas straps on a pair of metal wings, whooshing around the glass canyons of Waaji City to save his girlfriend, your credulity may have been strained to the point of flatlining.”
Ramesh Bala shared on Twitter, “At the #UK Box office, for the 1st weekend, #Saaho has collected £193,914 [₹ 1.71 Crs]”
Ramesh Bala posted on Twitter, “At the #Italy Box office, for the 1st weekend, #Saaho has collected $3,039 [₹ 2.20 Lakhs]”
Neil Nitin Mukesh posted on Twitter, “India’s biggest blockbuster of the year. #Saaho collects whopping 350 Cr+ gross in 5 days”
“#Saaho slapped on face of film critics. Its box office collection Day 5 crossed Rs 350 Cr mark worldwide and it has become India’s biggest blockbuster of the year. This Sujeeth directed Prabhash film is breaking records every other day,” tweeted writer Prashant Patel.
@MokaBhuvan wrote on her Twitter account, “#saaho I can confidently say that this level of depth and intelligent storytelling and screenplay has never come in an Indian movie, probably world cinema. Not always Hollywood and foreign movies are great. Now we have #Saaho as a strong answer. This should be accepted by all.”
