Actress Nitya Menon to appear in Mahanati Savitri role in upcoming NTR Biopic. Recently, Keethy Suresh has scored full marks for her role in Mahanati film directed by Nag Aswin. The film also released in the Tamil language as Nadigaiyar Thilagam. Now, Nitya Menon roped to essay the same role in NTR biopic. Initially, the reports stated that Nitya to appear in Mahanati movie in Savitri’s role; while, the makers have finalized Keerty Suresh to play the key role. The audience and Nitya fans can now fulfill the dream of watching her in Mahanati Savitri’s role.

Interestingly, Nithya Menen has also been roped to play Jayalalithaa in the recently declared biopic on the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu titled The Iron Lady, to be directed by A Priyadarshini.
It is well-known that Savitri and NT Rama Rao shared screen space in a few movies amid their primes as hero and heroine and turned out with many blockbuster hits. And also, it is natural that Savitri would be a vital character in his biopic.
