Kangana Ranaut starrer period drama ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ is holding enduring in the box office as the film enters its second Monday. The film managed to do well in the second end of the week collection. Co-directed by Kangana and Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish), the film portrays the story incredible Indian freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. Kangana Ranaut plays the warrior ruler in the film. The film which released on January 25 will remain among the best three female-lead movies in Bollywood.
Manikarnika box office collection 11th Day Achieves 2 Cr
As indicated by the recent report, on its second Monday, the film has rounded up a sum of Rs 2 crore on its 11th day in the box office. The film has collected an aggregate of Rs. 15.75 crore till now in its second week. The film has till now managed to collect a sum of Rs 72.31 crore in the box office in eleven days. Manikarnika collected a sum of Rs 56.56 crore in its first week.
The final collections of the film will be a good one for a female-driven film beating every one of the movies barring ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Raazi’ leaving Kangana Ranaut with two out of the best three. However, no other female-driven film has gone over Rs 50 crore as far as expenses while this period drama one is way above it.
‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ portrays the narrative of the incomparable Indian lady freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai, who battled against the East India Company and the British standard to keep her kingdom of Jhansi from being attached.
