The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) postponed the Group D result declaration to 17th February. The RRB official Mohan reported that the result will be declared on 17th February. Earlier the department said the RRB Group D Result will be declared on 13th February while it has been pushed to 17th February. All the candidates competed for the test can check the result by visiting the Indian Railways official website, indianrailways.gov.in. Or the aspirants can download RRB Group D Result 2019 by visiting the RRB regional-websites official page.
RRB Group D Result To Be Declared on 17th February
“Taking into consideration the number of candidates, the board is taking time and precautions to release error-free results. The results of RRB Group D examinations will be released by Sunday, February 17, 2019,” Mohan said.
RRB is going to organize the Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the candidates who cleared the written test round. Candidates shortlisted for PET round can get the PET Hall tickets before the announced PET date.
Male: Candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kilograms of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes in one chance without putting the weight down. They have to run for a distance of 1000 metres in four minutes and 15 seconds.
Female: Candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes in without putting the weight down and they will have to run for 1000 metres in five minutes and 40 seconds.
“The Railway Board will advertise for the first phase of the recruitment in the last week of February and the second likely on May. The entire recruitment process will be completed by August 2021,” Mohan said.
The new recruitment process would include the 10 percent Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota.
“Apart from the benefits credited to the reserved category candidates, the economically poor candidates will also get benefits according to 10 per cent reservation,” an RRB official said.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the Indian Railways had around 2.50 lakh vacant posts in the month of January.
“New job opportunities for 2.25-2.50 lakh people have been created, the process for 1.50 lakh vacancies is underway. So Railways, in a way, will be providing 4 Lakh jobs,” Goyal had said.
