The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has today announced the date sheet of Union Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) Date sheet for December examination. As per the announcement, the NET examination will be held on 16th December in morning and afternoon sessions. The UGC NET Morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon. In the morning shift, the exam will be held for Life Sciences, Physical Sciences. And the UGC NET Afternoon session will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. In the afternoon session, the exams will be held for Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences. CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking to apply for CSIR UGC NET examination must have the educational qualification of MSc or equivalent degree/ BS-4 years/Integrated BS-MS/ BTech/ BE/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55 percent marks. For reserved category, it is 50 percent.
BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD programme with at least 55 percent marks can apply too.
Applicants should not exceed the age of 28 years as on 1st July 2018.
Age Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)/female applicants and three years in case of OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates will be admissible as per norms.
