Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the UGC NET results today, 31st July at 5 PM. Union Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) examination was attempted by more than 11 lakhs of hopefuls this year. Central Board of Secondary Education annually conducts the National Eligibility Test for aspirants seeking to become Assistant Professor, Lecturer in various universities across India. The CBSE has conducted the National Eligibility Test in 91 examination centers across India. The UGC NET examination was conducted for 84 electives by the applicants. A large number of aspirants seeking Professors/Assistant Professors or Junior Research Fellowship in Indian Universities have applied for the CBSE UGC NET this year. As per the statistics revealed by the CBSE board, this year 11.94 lakh aspirants wishing to become Lecturer/JRF have competed for the UGC NET examination. All the competitors can now check the results from the CBSE NET portal, cbsenet.nic.in.
According to CBSE source, “The Board is working towards releasing the results by end of this month, and most likely on July 31, 2018, is all goes as planned. However, it is confirmed that the results will be out latest by August 4, which will be within one month on the conduct of the exam.”
As per the CBSE mentions the examination was organized in 2082 examination centers. And 2864 observers and 675 Board’s officials have taken part in organizing the UGC NET examination. The CBSE board has revised the age limit of applicants from 30 years to 28 years. Also, the CBSE board has conducted the examination for 2 papers in place of 3 papers. - In the home page go to the result section
- Then find out the link CBSE UGC NET exam results
- Click on that link
- Enter the necessary details /login credentials over there and tap on the submit button.
- The CBSE UGC NET Result will be downloaded.
- Check the result and take a printout of the result.
