Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the Class 9th and Class 11th Online registration process for the academic examinations 2017-18. Students can proceed applying for CBSE Examinations from the CBSE Official website, cbse.nic.in. The CBSE Class IX, XI Online registration was opened from 26th September 2017.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the educational board offers primary, secondary education and organizes various national level examinations in India. The CBSE is controlled by Union Ministry of Human Resources (HRD), Government of India. The CBSE board organizes academic examinations annually for students pursuing under the board. Annually lakhs of students attend for the academic examinations in CBSE board. Students presently studying the 9th and 11th classes under this board can enrol for academic examinations 2017 -18. Students can visit the CBSE Official website, cbse.nic.in to fill the registration form.
“Online Registration for Regular Candidates of Class IX/XI of CBSE affiliated schools has started on CBSE website cbse.nic.in”, the CBSE said in an official notification released today.
The notification released by CBSE has stated that, “Newly affiliated schools should contact the concerned Regional Office of the CBSE for obtaining password. After receipt of password schools are advised to change the password for future use and keep confidential to avoid misuse. In the event of any difficulty, concerned Regional Office may be contacted as per jurisdiction/contact details given in the Annexure.”
The notification also added, “This information should be first decided before starting online registration. This information should be filled very carefully as schools will not be allowed to change the declared section/strength afterwards. System will automatically multiply the number of section entered by 40. Thereafter school can start entering candidate details.”
As for the age-limit, the Board has not given any reference age bracket, however, has stated, “CBSE has not prescribed any minimum age for registration in class IX/XI. As per Rule 6.1(a), (iii) of the Examination Bye-Laws school may ensure that the student satisfies the requirement of age limit (minimum and maximum) as determined by the State/ U.T. Government and applicable to the place where the School is located while seeking admission in a class.”
