Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the class 10th and class 12th results in the month of May. As per the latest updates from the board, the result is expected to release in the 3rd week of May. Hence students who had appeared for the class 10th and 12th examinations in March/April months can wait for the results. The board secretary Anurag Tripathi said, “The Class 10, 12 results are likely to be declared between May 13 to 17, 2019. The Class 12 results will be announced first, following which the CBSE will declare the Class 10 results after two to three days.”

CBSE has started the paper correction process. The board has recently sent the notification for all the schools stating that same school teacher are not eligible to correct the same school papers.
“We have written to the Directorate of Education (DoE) recommending the disciplinary action against the school authorities. The board has also recommended a fine of Rs 50,000 to all these schools,” said CBSE secretary.
The CBSE board starting the class 10th and class 12th evaluation process with 35,000 teachers from 14th March.
“The evaluation process of 1.7 crore copies are likely to be completed by the first week of May, after which the board will start the leftover process for the result declaration.”
In paper corrections, teachers are advised to give the best marks for creative, accurate, and relevant answers.
“This year, the marking scheme prepared for the evaluators highlights the priority has to be given to creative, correct and relevant answers given by students other than the ones mentioned in the marking scheme,” the CBSE notification mentioned.
The year the CBSE board is taking the prior guidelines to avoid the rote-evaluation and it has passed certain guidelines for the teachers to correct the papers.
