Supporting Digital Payment market, Google has launched ‘Tez’ a UPI based Payment App in India. Spend less time and save your time while performing transactions by using Google’s ‘Tez’ application. Tez supports UPI payment system which allows you to transfer money between any two parties quickly than a normal transaction. Tez application is available in Android & iOS operating system. On the hands of Finance minister Shri. Arun Jaitley the application came into the market. Avail the secured and fastest transaction by installing Google’s ‘Tez’ application in your smartphone.
Google Tez App Save your time while performing transactions
The transactions on Tez are secured by ‘Tez Shield’ that detects fraud, prevents hacking, and verifies identity. Tez is compatible with over 50 banks in the country that support UPI. Tez helps in sending or receiving money in an easy way. To create an account in Tez, phone number is all it is required for adding the bank account. The number will be verified via OTP. Tez will request the UPI VPA (Virtual Payment Address) if you’ve created one in the past, else take you through the process of creating a new ID. Inbuilt feature with in the application helps the user to secure the app with the PIN lock system. Tez users from your contacts list will be displayed and you would be able to send/receive money with in a click.
Steps to Download & Install Google’s Tez:
- Open Google Play Store from Android device
- Type “Google Tez App” in the search box
- Pick the right app developed by Google from the search results
- Click on install and wait the app gets downloaded/Installed.
- After the successful Installation, Click on the “Open” button and start using it.
Note: Be cautious of fake apps, check twice before you place for install.
Also added feature for this application is, it uses Google’s proprietary Audio QR (AQR) ultrasound technology. The app produces a special audio signal which can be only read by another phone running the Tez app (Sounds will be inaudible as they’re sent using ultrasonic frequencies). As soon as the app detects a compatible device in proximity, the transaction channel opens, and user can enter the amount to send/receive the payment. The transactions done using this are completely encrypted and cannot be intercepted in the middle.
