FIFA World Cup 2010: Group H: Spain 2-0 ahead of Chile at half time , while Honduras and Switzerland plays a stalemate first half

The Group H match between Spain and Chile has completed first 45 mins with European Champions leading 2-0 over Chile. Spain started the first half furiously with 54% ball possession and 2 goals lead over their South American opponents. Spanish star player, David Villa gave the team their first goal at the 24th minute, which was followed by Iniesta’s goal at the 37th minute. A win in this match will take the Spanish side through to the knock out stage certainly.

The first half of other group H match between Switzerland and Honduras came to an end goalless. Switzerland had the better of the match though neither team have stamped any authority on the match. With Spain winning 2-0 over Chile in the other group H match, it looks like Switzerland needs to claim all 3 points out of this match to move into the next stage.
