FIFA World Cup 2010: Group C: England to face Slovenia, USA play Algeria in final group encounter

In the Group C encounter between England and Slovenia, a victory for England would be enough to get them the ticket to last 16 unless the US beat Algeria. In that scenario, the two sides would be separated by goal difference, goals scored or even the drawing of lots. Therefore, England must try their best to score as mch as possible as the Slovenians are leading the group while England and USA are co holders of second position at present.

The US needs a win to make it to the next stage, while a draw could be enough, provided England fail to beat Slovenia. Algeria have chance if they win. Provided England Loses or England win more than 2 goal difference.

Today’s games will be very crucial for USA, England and Algeria as their fate depends on the matches.
