Australian tycoon killed in Plane crash
A Plane Crash incident on West Africa, 21 June 2010 claimed 11 life confirmed so far including billionaire tycoon Ken Talbot and the entire management board of Sundance Resources. This air plane accident left its company in a crisis and made headlines in the country’s economics news.

The Sundance team had traveled to West Africa’s country Congo and Cameroon as part of billion dollar project to expand its operations in the region. Other fatalities included Six Australians, two British, two French and one American. John Carr-Gregg, Don Lewis, Craig Oliver, Natasha Flason Brian, Geoff Wedlock, and a British pilot was on the list.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and it is too early to confirm what is behind the story. Also, the company’s shares on the Australian Stock Exchange had been suspended after the incident. The company’s Chief financial officer Peter Canterbury was named acting chief executive while Former BHP chief Brian Gilbertson stepped forward to help the company during this crisis, after death of mining executives & chairman.
