The PHCs(Public Health Centre) and Civil hospitals around the state are in a paralysed state. The workers have decided not to resume work until their salaries are paid and all their arrears are cleared.
Youth forum leaders and CPM member Sri. Dipak Bhattacharjee was present at the office of the Gramin Swasthya Abhiyan office here in Silchar and supported the cause of the workers in this strike.
This agitation will continue for five days till the 4th of July and is estimated to affect the life of at least 25 million people across the state, and will be denied the medical service and attention during these days.
