In the ongoing Ranabir Roy Memorial Super Division Football League, Silchar Sporting faces Tarapur AC in today’s match. Silchar Sporting have 3 point from two matches. Having lost to town club in their opening match, they were down but have defeated Police AC 3-1 in their second match.
Tarapur AC also began their campaign with a loss but that was not to deter them. They have the moral advantage of having defeated last years champions India Club and Town Club in the tournament .
Both these teams have so far have to face mixed results, but Tarapur AC albeit has done better than Silchar Sporting till now. But the depth in both the sides makes this match evenly poised as of now.
But some of the players contracted from the rural area by Silchar Sporting have often had problems with the club officials and their disciplinary problem is hurting the Sporting camp.
