Silchar Medical College’s Guwahati Camp Office
The President of the Governing Body of Silchar Medical College and Excise Minister of the State Cabinet Sri Gautam Roy has plunged in with fresh vigour to give the institution a face lift.
In a press conference today, he announced that a camp office of Silchar Medical College is being set up at Guwahati, with his P.A. and a co-ordinator, which will co-ordinate the various concerned Engineering Department of Govt. of Assam, for the on-going construction work . It will also serve as a liason office of the College with Secretaries of State Govt.
The on-going 100 crore project for college development is being implemented in 4 phase. The first phase work comprising of construction of Basic Science Building is almost complete. Also certain construction work in the hospital is also complete.
The construction of New Admisitrative Building and New Hostels will begin shortly he said.
