Santosh Mohan visits hospital construction
Central Heavy Industry minister Santosh Mohan Deb inquired about the proceedings of construction works of Satindra Mohan Deb Civil Hospital at Silchar. Kachar District Magistrate Gautam Ganguly informed him about the construction plans of the project.
State government allotted a fund of 90 lakh rupees for hospital development of which 70 lakhs were for construction and 20 lakhs for purchase of equipments. Chief architect of Planning Department Imran Hussain, Architects of Public Health Department Gautam Paul and Tapas Roy, Development Department SESP Homchowdhury, Rural Health Development workers were present at the site. Later the dilapidated condition of the drug war house was brought to the notice of the minister. He instructed to prepare estimates for repair and construction of the building.
The district magistrate advised on the construction works further required for the hospital.
