The Regional Office of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has shifted in its own building in N M Gupta Sarani.It may be noted that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Silchar is one of the 18 Regional Offices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
The Regional Office of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan,Silchar came into existence in 1984 and it was renting a building in Hospital Road, Silchar before shifting near Lions Eye Hospital.
