The MP Police solves Asaram Ashram case
The Chhindwara police arrested a senior student of the Asaram Bapu Gurukul for the murder of two students following an investigation. Rituraj Singh Dixit,who was admitted in the school only 20 days back was found to have committed the murder.
According to the police reports,Rituraj wanted to go home desperately but his father wanted him to study there.The school kids reportedly made fun of Rituraj on account of being obese.It was reported that Rituraj heard about an incident in which two children of a school run by Asaram Bapu’s ashram in Ahmedabad were found dead last month and later the school was closed.
The police claims that that was the motive of these murders committed by Rituraj.He figured that the school would close following these deaths and his purpose would be fulfilled.Besides,Rituraj allegedly is mentally unstable.
It came to light that RamKrishna Yadav was killed on July 29 and Vedant Manmode was murdered on July 31 by Rituraj when Rituraj allured the kids into toilet on the plea of giving them chocolates.After that he tried to strangle them.The Post mortem conducted on the dead bodies showed that the both of them were killed in the same manner.
Rituraj had also bitten Vedant on his neck and then plunged his head in a bucket of water.The forensic report indicated that the mark was of Rituraj’s teeth following which he was arrested. He continuously kept changing his statements to mislead the police but later he confessed as the interrogation went on.
Rituraj has been sent to children’s remand home at Narsinghpur after his arrest.
However, Rituraj’s father claimed that his son was being implicated by the ashram authorities so that they can steer clear of problems and demanded a CBI enquiry into the matter.
