State Unit of Congress celebrates Trust Vote Victory
Assam Chief Minister Sri Tarun Gogoi came out all guns blazing when he learnt of the victory in Trust Vote in the parliament. He came out of his residence and suggested that it was a victory of democracy.
Leaders of Congress fromthe valley held a victory rally each in Silchar , Hailakandi and Karimganj. Sri Sontosh Mohan Dev a Congress heavy weight from this region also expressed his heartiness at the course of events. He said that reforms are bound to take place. This celebration was special, because Dr.Manmohan Singh ji is a MP(RS) from Assam .
So celebration was special in the state. Analyst believe that the Prime Minister will also implement long pending development projects for the region and also try to solve the severe energy deficits of Assam.
