Silchar Registers Historic Win
The Womens football team of Silchar have defeated Sivasagar team in the All Assam Women Football tournament in Charaideo in the quarter finals of the tournament.
The Silchar team was oozing with confidence after having defeated the Naharkatiya team 6-0 in their last league level match. And that continued all the way when they went on to defeat the Sivasagar team 8-0 in their quarter final clash.
Coach Rajkumar Singh has informed over telephone that his girls are in full shape to defeat the Charaideo team in their semi final encounter. He said that now there will be minor changes in the composition of the team and he hopes that these changes will yield better results.
He confirmed that goal machine of the team Mithila Bhumij and Dayabati Singh will continue to play and their minor niggles are not much of a worry.
