Bus clashes with Public Transport in Lala
In a deadly collision between a Maxx. Magic public carrier vehicle and a Mini Bus plying on the same route atleast 14 people have been seriously injured. The injured were rushed to the Hailakandi Civil Hospital from where they have been referred to Silchar Medical College Hospital.
The Maxx. Magic (AS-24-7651) was coming from Hailakandi and was on it way to Lala. The mini Bus on the other hand was going from Lala to Haialakandi. When the bus had reached Chandrapur , the Maxx suddenly appeared right in front of it and within a fraction of a second they collided. The drivers of both the vehicles are to blame.
The excited public set the bus ablaze and rushed the injured passengers to the hospital. The Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi reached the spot soon after and sroted out the fiasco.
